Location: Multiple locations throughout Lake County, IL and Kenosha, WI

Employment type: Full and part-time positions available

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 / year plus commission

Full Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include servicing customers’ vehicles in wheel alignments, brake, steering, and suspension components. You will act as an alignment expert continuously learning new information and techniques to excel and implement rapidly changing automotive technology.

Job Details:

• Perform alignments and multi-point inspection on all makes and models while maintaining an organized and safe work environment.
• Recommends services based on findings from inspections.
• Communicate with the service advisor regarding any additional services needed.
• Work as a team in assisting fellow automotive technicians to achieve service goals.

Qualifications:

• General mechanical and suspension knowledge required.
• Ability to understand alignment theory.
• Proficient computer skills including online order management applications and diagnostic test equipment.
• Able to prioritize attention to detail and safety in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 2 years of automotive experience with emphasis on alignments.
• Ability to lift an object weighing up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Available to work part-time or full-time, Monday – Saturday, with one day off during the week.
• Preferred: High school diploma, GED, or vocational certificate.
